counseling with the
Fort Worth
Independent
School District. She also
operates her own business, The Everest
Edge, a company dedicated to
promoting
social and emotional well-being.
Through her company, Everest delivers
customized and powerful speeches to education, business and
industry professionals. Her topics include: "Distressed, Eustressed —
We’re All Stressed,” "Why Are My Car Keys in the Refrigerator? Work
Overload?" and
"Change is Not a Four-letter Word."
An adjunct professor at TCU, Everest
also
serves her alma mater on the advisory board of the University of North
Texas' College of Higher Education and
Development as well as the advisory
board for Texas Wesleyan's
College of

Program. Everest also holds a
position on the Board of Directors for Texas
Counseling Association.
